GoVision for iOS
Data Collection
GoVision does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
All image processing happens entirely on-device using Apple's Core ML framework. Your photos and captured board positions are processed locally and are never uploaded to any external server.
iCloud Storage
GoVision uses iCloud Documents to store your game library (SGF files) so they sync across your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account. This data is stored in your personal iCloud container and is not accessible to us or any third party.
You can manage or delete this data through your device's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
If iCloud is unavailable or disabled, your games are stored locally on your device.
No Accounts Required
GoVision does not require you to create an account or sign in. There is no user registration, authentication, or identity tracking of any kind.
No Analytics or Tracking
GoVision does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party tracking tools. We have no visibility into how you use the app.
Camera & Photo Library Access
GoVision requests access to your camera and photo library solely to capture and import images of Go boards for scoring. These images are processed on-device and are not transmitted anywhere.
